Well... we have been living in the perfect storm...

My husband had a stroke, over a year ago, just before his mother passed away (which was a great loss to our family - we were all very close to her).
He was driving, and I was with him.  It was rather alarming, because he just drove into the oncoming traffic!
We got back in the right lane without incident, and he was still cognizant enough to follow my directions, and pull over so I could drive him to the hospital, which was less than a mile from where we were...
He has recovered so well, that we can't even tell that he'd had a stroke!

I lost my job last year, and had plans to open a small business.  This is the main reason I haven't been on dA much - been very busy with the planning, etc...

Then I was diagnosed with diabetes... no problem, deal with that as I go along...

And then this last spring, my brother was diagnosed with cancer of the throat.
He recently lost his home, and my parents are too old to care for him.
So he is staying with us.
I have been driving him to his chemo treatments (40 minutes each way to the hospital for his treatments, once a week).

And now my husband has just lost HIS job, and is looking for other employment, but is having a difficult time.

We have to sell our house and move, because we can no longer afford our house payments... and we don't know to where we should move, because we don't know if he will find a job here, or in another city or state... so my little business idea is on the back burner for now...

Then three weeks ago I had a heart attack! - Like, what else could possibly happen?

I was fortunate that my cardiac event was not from cholesterol, I had no operation, or stint, or other things that would make for a long hospital stay - I got out the very next day!
I have a heart defect - they just found it!  And the doctors said that my heart attack was brought on by stress.
I guess so!

Anyway, I have been resting alot, and our friends and family have stepped up to help us out - they've brought meals, and have even driven my brother to his chemo treatments...

So there you have my latest, in a nutshell...
We are trusting that God has something good planned for us! We just have to wait on his time...
This is the beginning of a new adventure for us!

I would love to go live on a farm :)
